RE Dew have recently been successful in tendering for the upgrade of various council properties within the Argyll and Bute portfolio
The Challenge
In order to meter, monitor and implement energy cost savings in the future, RE Dew have been successful in tendering for the upgrading of various council properties with Trend Building Management Systems in order to control their buildings energy consumption.
The Solution
As a Trend Systems Integrator and TAC Partner, RE Dew has extensive experience in the design, installation and commissioning of Trend Building Management Systems. With this level of expertise, they were involved in:
- Service and maintenance of Trend Building Management Systems
- Upgrading of controls and replacement of panels
- Setting up of the powerful TREND 963 SMS direct supervisor at Argyll House, Dunoon.
The Benefits
As a result of RE Dew’s work, overall efficiency has been improved. The client is now able to monitor their buildings services and has complete control of their BMS system, including the ability to retransmit alarms deemed critical using SMS text messaging.
The benefit of having such as system is that, for the client they are able to guarantee the continual operation of their facility and can react to any issues as they happen, minimizing disruption to both the building and its occupants.
